Non Invasive Cardiology Services

TTE (Transthoracic Echo)

The Echocardiogram uses ultrasound to create video pictures of the heart’s chambers, valves, and wall motion and blood flow patterns.

TEE (Transesophageal Echo) Echocardiogram

In this test, a specially designed probe is introduced into the esophagus to obtain very clear images of the heart. This procedure is carried out during Cardiac surgeries as well(Intra operation TEE).

Stress Echos (Dobutamine/Treadmill Stress Echos)

A test that assists in identifying electrocardiographic (EKG) changes during exercise, such as walking on a treadmill or may be drug-induced for patients who are unable to walk.

Holter monitoring

Holter monitor uses a portable heart rhythm recorder worn for 1-2 days. Holter monitoring gives doctors a constant reading of your heart rate and rhythm over a 24-hour period (or longer).

ABP monitoring (Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring)

A noninvasive method of obtaining BP readings over a 24 hour period whilst the patient is in his own environment representing a true reflection of his own BP.

ETT (Exercise Tolerance Test)

A stress echocardiogram is an integration of ultrasound imaging and the exercise stress testing.

Head-up Tilt Table Test

If you have sudden or frequent fainting spells (syncope), your doctor may order a Tilt-Table Test. During this test, we will monitor your heart rate and blood pressure as you lie flat on a table.

Nuclear Cardiology Lab:

A Cardiac dedicated Gamma camera, hot lab and stress room with a fully furnished waiting room are located at ground floor to perform MPI (Myocardial Perfusion Imaging/Scans or Thallium Scan).  Also known as nuclear stress testing. In addition to measuring your heart’s electrical activity during stress, a nuclear study provides pictures of your heart. This nuclear study has two parts: a scan of your heart at rest and a scan of your heart under stress.  Medications are also used to stimulate the exercise for patients who are unable to walk on the treadmill.

X-Ray Department

Located on the ground floor, X-Ray Lab has a state of art Stationed X-ray machine and 2 mobile X-ray machines for portable X-rays. The X-Ray dept. incorporates a hot lab and processing room and a  three megapixel  monitor to have a clear vision of the images. All kinds of X-rays are performed round the clock to inpatients, outpatients, and inpatient portables.

We are providing in-house ultrasound services of all kinds under the supervision of experienced  sonologist .
