Our highly skilled team of medical professionals has extensive experience in managing some of the most high risk and seriously ill cardiac patients. Attending Physicians, Cardiology Division Fellows, Physician Assistants, and Medical House Staff, along with specialty-trained Cardiac Nurses with critical care expertise, provide round-the-clock care using the most sophisticated hemodynamic monitoring available. The most critically ill patients each have a single nurse assigned exclusively to them. The Cardiac Catheterization Lab has 2 state-of-the-art machines. It has facilities for Right and Left Heart Catheterization, Coronary and Renal and Endovascular procedure, Percutaneous Balloon Mitral Valvuloplasty, Temporary and Permanent Pacemakers, ICD, CRT & Intra Aortic Balloon Pump insertion. This unit primarily treats complex interventional cardiology patients. It is staffed round the clock by Interventional Cardiology Fellows under the supervision of internationally trained Interventional Cardiologists. This team of experts has unique experience in managing challenging interventional cardiology cases, avoiding post-catheterization complications and managing them when they do occur.
