Elective/ Internship (Dietetics and DPT student)

A structured clinical training program designed for final-year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students and Dietetics/Nutrition (Bachelor’s or Master’s level) students to gain hands-on experience in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation setting.

Certificate will be provided upon successful completion of minimum one month for internship/electives.

Who can apply:
  • Final-year DPT students.
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate Dietetics and Nutrition students.
Areas of Training

Areas of Training
  • Cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation exposure
  • Supervised exercise therapy sessions
  • Post-operative and stroke rehabilitation
  • Functional assessment and mobility training
  • Use of rehabilitation equipment under supervision
For Dietetics Students:
  • Clinical nutrition assessment of cardiac and chronic disease patients
  • Therapeutic diet planning (cardiac, diabetic, renal, etc.)
  • Patient counseling and lifestyle modification education
  • Case-based learning and clinical discussions
